Persecuted Eritreans are currently scattered all over Africa, Europe and the Middle east in inhumane prison cells, refugee camps, detention centres or stranded in the deserts of Sinai and the Sahara. Release Eritrea makes every effort to ensure that everything within its capacity is utalised to provide our brothers and sisters with the necessary finance and goods.

Release Eritrea sends clothing to refugee camps. Release Eritrea recently sent a cargo of over 225 Kilos to the Mai Ayni refugee camp in Ethiopia. The clothing was targeted to new mother and babies and to residents of the camp considered to be the neediest.

Release Eritrea has over the years sent substantial amounts of money to help persecuted Christian prisoners in Eritrea to assist with medical goods and financial support for their families. Release Eritrea is one of the primary actors supporting Pastors, Evangelist and Church leaders who have been arrested due to their faith in Christianity by making sure that their families are able to buy the necessary goods to stay alive.

Release Eritrea has listed medical conditions as the primary reasons for financial support. We understand that it’s very difficult to have the finance for medical support after years of imprisonment or severe punishment and so we make every effort to cover medical costs to help persecuted Christians recover to normal health.
